Relax, unwind and enjoy! Our day spa experiences focus on your wellbeing, comfort and enjoyment. We fully understand that relaxation and wellbeing means different things to different people and have created a range of spa experiences to suit a variety of tastes.

Our Full Spa Days Include:

• Unlimited use of the facilities - swimming pool, outdoor hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna, drench shower, spa garden and gymnasium
• Sumptuous lunch in our spa lounge or brasserie
• A selection of therapies
• Complimentary fluffy robes, slippers, toiletries and towels are all provided for your comfort during your stay

PLEASE NOTE: Day spa packages are available Monday to Friday (except for Sunday Afternoon Spa). A limited number of day spa guests may be accommodated on weekends but this will be subject to availability and carry a supplement of £10 per person.

1. Spa Touch

A gentle day of relaxation and comfort; includes a Relaxing Back and Neck Massage with the choice of either a Body Scrub to invigorate the skin and pep the circulation or the 'Quick Cleanse' Facial.

5. Yummy Mummy

The ultimate pampering for pregnant and nursing mothers incorporating a full body massage designed to answer the developing needs of mother and baby. The massage helps to ease aches, pains and that ‘heavy’ feeling giving you the nurturing treatment you both deserve. Combined with the choice of either a Rose Radiance Facial to hydrate and nourish the skin or a Deluxe Treatment Pedicure.

9. The Morning Spa

Available Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday mornings to include arrival at 9.30am for a welcome coffee/tea and use of the spa facilities until 1.30pm plus a choice of one of the following 1 hour spa therapies:

10.Spa at Night

A magical night time spa experience - the perfect way to end the day! The Spa at Night commences at 5pm and includes use of all the spa facilities, plus a half hour treatment from one of the following:

• Body Scrub
• Purity Ritual Facial
• Quick Cleanse Facial

Your spa evening ends at 8.30pm and is followed by a a delicious candlelit two-course dinner in the restaurant at Headlam Hall.

11.Sunday Afternoon Spa

The perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon! This spa experience begins with a delicious two-course lunch in the spa brasserie, full use of the spa facilities from 1pm up until 5pm plus a half hour treatment selected from one of the following:

Create your own Day Spa

Select your favourite therapies from our treatment brochure (must be for a minimum of 90 minutes) and add on our Day Spa fee of £39 which includes unlimited use of the Spa facilities, robe, towel and slippers plus a two course lunch.

Cancellation Policy

A credit card number will be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Please note that the full fee for your package will be charged on this card if you fail to arrive for your appointment or cancel your spa day with less than 7 days notice.

Check-in

It is requested that you arrive in the spa, at least 20 minutes prior to your treatment time. Late arrival for a treatment may result in a shortened treatment.

Spa Attire

A gown, towels and slippers will be provided for you to use during your day at Headlam Spa. Our spa facilities are mixed and therefore swimwear must be worn at all times in the heat rooms, swimming pool and out door hydro-therapy pool.

Fitness Facilities

Our gymnasium which is equipped with Technogym equipment can be used throughout your spa stay. We also have a programme of exercise classes, however we would recommend advance booking. Please remember to bring the appropriate clothing if you wish to use our tennis court, gymnasium, spa studio, golf course or enjoy one of our scenic walks.

Health & Safety

It is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions, medical treatment (or medications taken), before commencing your spa day. All details pertaining to your health and wellbeing must be fully disclosed on the Spa Health Questionnaire. Certain medical conditions may make some treatments unsuitable or unsafe, however wherever possible we will endeavour to provide you with an alternative.

It is vital that you inform your therapist if you are or think you may be pregnant as this will influence which treatments are safe for you to experience.

The Spa is a non-smoking area.

Please remember to drink plenty of water and re-hydrate through-out your day.

Spa Tranquillity

It is our aim to create a peaceful environment for the benefit of all our guests. We would therefore politely request that you respect the needs of the other spa users and turn off mobile phones and pagers and keep noise levels to a minimum.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers for treatments, products or spa days are available to purchase from the spa and over the phone.

Additional treatments may be booked to complement those included in your spa package. To book a treatment please call the spa reception.
