We have created a home from home for relaxation and spa rejuvenation. Our spa is less about serious regimes and more about your comfort, relaxation and enjoyment. For our health conscious guests a selection of yoga, Pilates, fresh juices, morning runs and detox massage plus expert advice is all at hand. However for a more decadent experience enjoy our frothy cappuccinos, home-made cakes and chilled Champagne, or chill out after a sumptuous spa ritual on our comfy leather sofas. For a truly special residential spa experience we recommend that you book one of our dedicated spa bedrooms or suites within our fabulous spa complex. Stunning views of the countryside and golf course and a wonderful peaceful ambience make this the perfect retreat for repose and relaxation. Direct access to the spa facilities and therapy rooms means all is close at hand for your convenience. If, however, you prefer to stay in the historic surroundings of the Main Hall then this is just a short walk from the Spa.

All prices are per person per night for accommodation in a Classic double or twin room.

Prices are based on 2 people sharing and include bed & breakfast and three course a la carte evening meal.

Single occupancy will be subject to a supplement of £30 per night.

To up-grade to a Deluxe or Spa Room (double or twin) - add £25 per night per room. To up-grade to a Junior Suite in the Main Hall or Spa - add £45 per night per room. To up-grade to a Principal Suite in the Main Hall or Spa - add £75 per night per room.

Bespoke Packages

Our day spa packages can be made into residential spa breaks (to include accommodation, breakfast & three course dinner) by deducting £15 from the Day Spa Package price and then adding £79pp in a Classic double/twin, £91.50pp in a Deluxe double/twin, £101.50pp in a Junior suite or £116.50pp in a Premier suite. Single supplement is £30 per night.

Spa User Guide

Cancellation Policy

A credit card number will be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

Please note that the full fee for your spa package will be charged on this card if you fail to arrive for your appointment or cancel your spa day with less than 7 days notice.

Hotel Check-in

Please note that rooms are available to check in from 2.30 pm and must be vacated by: 11am Monday to Saturday and 12pm on Sunday.

It is requested that you arrive in the spa, at least 15 minutes prior to your treatment time. Late arrival for a treatment may result in a shortened treatment.

Spa Attire

A gown, towels and slippers will be provided for you to use during your day at Headlam Spa. Our spa facilities are mixed and therefore swimwear must be worn at all times in the heat rooms, swimming pool and out door hydro-therapy pool.

Fitness Facilities

Our gymnasium which is equipped with Technogym equipment can be used through-out your stay. We also have a programme of exercise classes, however would recommend advance booking. Please remember to bring the appropriate clothing if you wish to use our tennis court, gymnasium, spa studio, golf course or enjoy one of our scenic walks.

Health & Safety

It is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions, medical treatment (or medications taken), before using the spa or having treatments. All details pertaining to your health and wellbeing must be fully disclosed. Certain medical conditions may make some treatments unsuitable or unsafe, however wherever possible we will endeavour to provide you with an alternative.

It is vital that you inform your therapist if you are or think you may be pregnant as this will influence which treatments are safe for you to experience.

The Spa is a non-smoking area.

Please remember to drink plenty of water and re-hydrate through-out your day.

Spa Tranquillity

It is our aim to create a peaceful environment for the benefit of all our guests. We would therefore politely request that you respect the needs of the other spa users and turn off mobile phones and pagers and keep noise levels to a minimum.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers for treatments, products or spa days are available to purchase from the spa and over the phone.
