I am writing to thank you from myself and staff and on behalf of the students from Carmel College who attended the Prom at Headlam Hall. The students had a wonderful, memorable and enjoyable evening and this was made even more so by the welcoming and accommodating manner in which they were treated by your staff.

I have organised many of these events in recent years but I can honestly say that this one was by far the most special for the students and the whole experience will be remembered by them for years to come.

Thank you for the way in which the students were respectfully treated and I hope we have the pleasure of bringing students to similar events in the future.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Headlam Hall and would like to thank all the staff for making my birthday celebration such a wonderful occasion.

The quality of our accommodation was second to none and I found all the staff courteous and friendly and my guests echoed my own sentiments that the quality of the food and the way it was served was quite excellent.

Joan & I had the pleasure , yet again, of staying at Headlam Hall for 2 nights availing ourselves of your 'Autumn Gold' special offer. The food and service were excellent, please pass on our compliments to the chef for his deliscious food. Please pass on our thanks to your front house staff for their service.

Just a quick note to tell you that our spa day was perfect! You exceeded our expectations and we could not have hoped for any more. The staff were all very professional but also very friendly and welcoming too, everyone was so helpful and gave 110% in everything they did.

The lunch was delicious and the standard of cleanliness throughout the spa very high. We will be recommending your spa days to all our friends and will hopefully be back again ourselves soon!

We would like to thank you all for making such a wonderful job of the wedding arrangements for our daughter, Caroline, on July 8th. The location is wonderful, the food excellent and the organisation was first class.

So many guests commented on what a wonderful wedding it was and that was, in no small measure, thanks to the staff at Headlam. So many said 'it was the best wedding we have been to' - and we agree. You even managed the weather beautifully!

Just to say thank you for making Kellie and Rob's Wedding Day so special. Everything was perfect! You did them proud. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic as usual. 'Harry' on the saxophone was the icing on the cake, he made my day anyway! The weather also was perfect - which we do not have any control over - but can make such a difference to everything.

I hope John and I will make many more visits to Headlam Hall as we are so impressed with the surroundings and service. Please say a big thank you to everyone involved in making everything special.

We would like to express our appreciation for the service received yesterday for our 50th wedding anniversary. The whole organisation was efficient while at the same time casual and un-intrusive, which our guests much appreciated as well.

The meal was served quickly and well in view of the numbers and restricted space and the quality of both presentation and portion choice were a tribute to your Chef and his department. Even the many seasoned cruisers in the company commented on the excellence of both quantity and quality being better than P & O. Praise indeed.

On behalf of my colleagues here at Blueprint and Lexus (GB), I would like to thank you for your part in making the Open Road event at Headlam Hall such a success. We received many positive comments about the hotel and the catering from our guests both during and after the event.

As we discussed on the day, my only recommendation for a future similar event would be that we book the hotel on an exclusive basis - unless, of course, you expand the guests parking areas between now and next summer! Having said that however, we and the staff from Lexus Teesside thought that the hotel lent itself very well to the event.

I would appreciate it if you could also give my thanks to your catering and waiting staff; we all thought they were very attentive without being overly so, and made a significant contribution to the overall smooth running of the Open Road event.

I would hope that the event will return to Headlam Hall in 2008 and once again, many thanks for your assistance.

Thank you for your letter of 21st May. As Allan and I have been members of the Spa for over 6 months now we thought we would like to write to tell you and the Spa team how much we have enjoyed our membership.

Although we do not have as much time as we would like for Spa activities (work does get in the way), we have made full use of the gym and pool areas and enjoyed the occasional treatment. Despite the undoubted attractions of the Brasserie food we have both become fitter and lost a bit of weight which is a real bonus after all of the lovely meals we have eaten!

Much of our satisfaction is due to the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, a visit to Headlam is so relaxing as they take care of everything. Nothing is too much trouble. Please would you pass on our sincere thanks to them all as we look forward to (hopefully!) some lovely summer evenings at the Spa.

Last week was my wife Sandra's 60th Birthday and having spent the weekend at Headlam Hall to celebrate, including a surprise day of pampering for her in your luxurious spa on Saturday, I feel we need to write and thank ALL your staff for making it very special.

In particular to Joanne (Spa Reception) for helping make all the arrangements and helping to keep the surprise. To Natalie for the manicure and pedicure treatments and Kate for the Body and Face Revitalising massage. I've not seen Sandra so chilled out for a long time.

You can be proud of all your staff in the Hotel and Spa for their friendly and courteous manner shown towards us throughout the weekend and the excellent food.

We look forward to revisiting Headlam Hall/Spa in the near future and recommending to family and friends.

Thank you so much for all your assistance on Saturday night. The evening was everything I could have hoped for and more, a very very special Burns Supper.

The final sum raised will be announced shortly but will undoubtedly be in excess of £5000 which is an amazing figure.

None of this would have been possible without the assistance of my great friends. You have had such an important role to play over the years making this work and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.
