Headlam Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Course is a privately owned business that has been under the same ownership since Headlam Hall was converted into a hotel in 1978. The business has expanded significantly in the last 15 years and has seen the addition of golf in 2003 and the spa in 2006. The directors recognise that the most important element of a successful hotel is its employees and having a team of conscientious and dedicated people with a passion for the industry is paramount in providing the best experience for our guests. Applicants please note - Headlam Hall is a rural hotel that is located a mile from the nearest bus route. Unfortunately, we have very limited staff accommodation in the village.

Sous Chef

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and tallented chef to work closely with the Head Chef and deputising in his absence. Applicants must have experience of working in an AA rosette standard kitchen (or equivalent) as well as a passion for freshly cooked food using local produce and the ability to direct others.

We are offering an extremely good financial package that includes a basic salary plus an achievable bonus scheme.

Spa Fitness Instructor

We are looking for a dedicated fitness professional to work 24 hrs a week  over 3 or 4 days at Headlam Spa. Duties will include gym inductions, fitness/exercise classes in the studio, aqua-aerobic classes and general spa duties such as assisting members and pool testing. Applicants must have appropriate qualifications (NVQ level 2 or higher) for gym instruction and exercise to music. The position offers a competitive salary plus benefits.
