We only hold one wedding reception a day

The minimum number for a reception in the Edwardian Suite are:
Friday and Saturday: 80 adult guests,
Sunday to Thursday: 60 adult guests.

The Drawing room is available for smaller receptions Monday to Thursday only (we may accommodate weddings in the Drawing Room over weekends on a short lead basis).

The minimum charges for a reception held at Headlam Hall are:
Food: £36.00 per person
Drinks Package: £18.00 per person
Total minimum spend per person: £54.00

Please note that all evening wedding guests must be catered for. Numbers for an evening reception cannot be more than 50% greater than the number attending the day reception, for example, when 80 guests attend a day reception the max. number for the evening party is 120. The maximum number of guests allowed for any party is 150. All guests must be by invitation and adhere to a formal dress code.

Facility Hire Charges

Edwardian Suite - exclusive use for the afternoon and evening up to the permitted time, including the Stable Lounge and Coach Room Bar. This fee also includes use of the gardens/terrace areas for arrival drinks and photographs plus the provision of our in-house sound and light system with resident DJ, silver cake stand, table place cards, menus and a personal wedding co-ordinator.

Friday and Saturday: £1000
Sunday to Thursday: £800

Drawing Room - exclusive use for the afternoon and evening: £350
Music for dancing is not permitted in this room. Max number of diners 44.

NB. Live bands/Entertainment booked to play in the Edwardian Suite must have valid Public Liability Insurance to cover their performance and all electric equipment must be PAT tested.

Wedding Party All-In-Drinks Packages

Package One: a glass of Pimms or Bucks Fizz with top-up, 2 glasses of red or white wine, a glass of sparkling wine - £18.00pp

Package Two: a glass of Pimms or Bellini with top-up, 2 glasses of red or white wine, a glass of Italian sparkling rose - £19.50pp

Package Three: a glass of Pimms or Bellini with top-up, 2 glasses of red or white wine, a glass of Champagne - £20.50pp

We do not offer corkage and consumption of alcohol purchased off the premises of Headlam Hall contravenes licensing laws and is strictly prohibited.

Civil Ceremonies

preceding a reception at Headlam Hall (not before 1pm)

Edwardian Suite up to 150 guests £400

Prices exclude Registrar's fees.

Accommodation

A complimentary four poster bedroom is available for the Bride and Groom on the night of the reception when attended by 40 guests or more.

The Coach House bedrooms (9 in total) are offered to wedding reception guests at a 10% discount on the night of the event.

NB. Bedroom check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 11am. We are unable to offer early check-in but we do have a guest changing area.

Exclusive use of Headlam Hall - from £10,000 to include 32 bedrooms on a B&B basis, exclusive use of the main hall, coach house, terrace and gardens from 12pm until 11am the following day. Please note that although the spa and golf facilities are available to your guests these areas are not exclusive due to the membership. The exclusive use price does not include food and drink for the reception.
