Coach House Rooms

Coach House Rooms

These well appointed rooms are tastefully decorated with light colours, local artwork and contemporary wool fabrics to provide comfortable and cosy accommodation. All rooms have flat screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, power showers over baths, ironing centres, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. The typical room size is 16-18 m2 and they are located on the first floor and ground floor of the Coach House, just across the courtyard via a covered walkway.

Mews Rooms

Mews Rooms

Attractive ground floor 'cottage style' bedrooms with soft colours, contemporary wool fabrics and photographic art of the local countryside. These six rooms are located across the driveway from the Main Hall (umbrellas provided) and have private car parking places immediately outside the door giving them a touch of independence. All have flat screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, power showers over baths, bath robes, ironing centres, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. The typical room size is 20-22 m2 (Mews single room 12 m2). Two of the Mews bedrooms are suitable for guests with dogs and two are suitable for guests requiring improved accessibility (wheel chair users).

Main Hall Rooms

These are located on the first and second floor of the Main Hall and offer period decor, elegant fabrics and furnishings (some antique pieces) in keeping with a traditional country manor house. The bathrooms offer attractive up-to-date tiling and fittings with either power showers or electric showers over baths. Some rooms have four-poster beds and all have either rural or garden views. They have flat screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, ironing centres, bath robes, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. Due to the nature of this 17th century manor house the bedroom and bathroom sizes and shapes do vary but at the same time there is a unique character and charm. Typical room sizes are 18-25 m2.

Spa Rooms

Located on the first floor of the Spa building with superb views over the gardens, golf course and surrounding countryside. These rooms have a contemporary country style with light colours, bright fabrics, original local artwork and attractive bathroom suites. They feature flat screen TV's, ipod/iphone speaker dock, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, power showers over baths, bath robes, ironing centres, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. Two of these bedrooms also enjoy private south facing balconies with a beautiful outlook. The Spa is approximately 30 m from the Main Hall and the route is partly uncovered (umbrellas provided). The typical room size is 22-24 m2.

There are three Junior Suites; two in the Main Hall and one in the Spa with the styles/decor reflecting their situation (see Main Hall Rooms and Spa Rooms descriptions) and all with attractive views. These suites offer private entrance corridor, spacious lounge areas either within the room or in a separate sitting room and well appointed bathroom suites. They have flat screen TV's, ipod/iphone speaker dock, free Wi-Fi, ironing centres, bath robes, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. The typical overall floor area is 30-38 m2.

Premier Suites

Premier Suites

There are two Premier Suites; the Virginia Suite in the Spa building (contemporary) and the Lord Gainford Suite in the Main Hall (traditional). They both offer large flat screen TV's with DVD player, BOSE ipod/iphone speaker dock, free Wi-Fi, ironing centres, bath robes, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary mineral water. The Virginia Suite has a private entrance hall, separate bedroom and sitting room, bathroom with two wash basins and a separate cloakroom. It enjoys fantastic views over the gardens and golf course and it has fresh contemporary decor as in the other Spa Rooms. The overall area of the suite is approximately 38 m2. The Lord Gainford Suite has a large bedroom with a four-poster bed and a huge sitting room with six large windows that look out over the main lawn and garden. The spacious bathroom includes a Victorian cast iron bath and large walk-in shower. This was the original 'Lord & Lady of the Manor's bedroom'! The overall suite area is approximately 45 m2.

All bedrooms are individually named and in line with 4* standards provide two comfortable armchairs and provision for in-room dining.
