An exciting new project that is now underway and due to be completed by September 2026. We will be holding opening evenings on 11th & 12th September.
What is happening and where?
We are creating a new bar and dining space called The Paddock Bar in what was previously known as the Stable Lounge. This will have a bespoke bar constructed across the far end of the room and dining space for up to 40 people. The room features exposed stone walls, an impressive beamed ceiling and great views through the large glazed sliding doors. This will be available to book for private parties and we also plan to offer an informal dining experience in this new bar on Friday & Saturday nights (when not privately booked). The vibe will be 'country cool' (if that is a thing?) but more importantly it will just be a great place to enjoy good food and drink with friends and family.
Our old Coach House Bar will be transformed into a new private dining space to be known as The Feed Room. This will feature a large statement table for up to 14 people with luxurious seating and an open kitchen at the end of the room. This is where you will see the chefs at work plating up your delicious food. This room will also be available for boardroom style meetings.
The refurbishment work is also including the toilets and entrance lobby. The second phase of this project due to take place in early 2027 will see the existing ballroom transformed into a more relaxed events space to be called The Yard. The glass roof will be retained to give that feeling of being outside and the furnishings, décor and lighting will be in keeping with the adjacent new Paddock Bar.
The thought process behind this project is to create a new dining and events space that reflects the heritage of this building as well as contemporary countryside design. The new names are also based on what the various spaces were used for. We will be holding open evenings on 11th & 12th September so come along and have a look for yourself.
