Electric bike hire to explore the area

We have 2 electric 'e-bikes' available for our guests to hire by the day or half day. Fot those who have riden one of these you will know just how good they are for explring country roads and lanes. If you have not tried one then we highly recommend a go.
Cycling is the perfect way to enjoy the countryside on a nice day with fresh air, the sounds of the birds and the fitness benefits. Sometimes, however, a relaxing ride can become anything but as you arer faced with a steep hill. Not so with an e-bike. The great thing about them is they feel pretty much the same as a traditional bicycle when pedalling on the flat but as soon as you arrive at a gradient it is as if a magic mystery helper has started pushing you along!
You can choose how much assistance you want from 'eco mode' (mild assistance) to 'power mode' (the full beans). The range of the battery will depend upon mode selection but generally speaking they are good for around 50 miles which is plenty for a pleasant ride out. We have some suggested cycling routes that take in quiet rural roads as well as tea room and pub stops along the way.
