Meetings and conference venues in County Durham

If you and your team are looking for the idyllic place to host important meetings, or even just a day out of the office, our many conference rooms at Headlam Hall are set in peaceful, tranquil surroundings to inspire concentration and focus. Here at Headlam, we try to understand the needs of each business that visits us before offering a bespoke service that suits the individual needs of each event. Whether you’re looking to hold a small meeting over lunch or take your team on a fun team-building day out, we’ve got the facilities and dedicated team to help you deliver a meeting with a difference.

If you’re looking to engage your team in fun team building activities, we offer a range to choose from including wine tasting, classic car driving, golf tuition, laser shooting and fly fishing tuition. This is a great way for your team to bond on both a personal and business level, encouraging them to work together whilst establishing friendships.

When you’re getting down to business, our conference rooms are both spacious and private so that you and your team can hold a successful meeting. Each room is updated with equipment so that you can choose how to brief your team. With LCD projectors, screens and flipcharts, you can be as creative as you wish. Our rooms also offer telephone points and free wireless fibre optic broadband so that your meetings can reach beyond the walls of the conference room.

Our first meeting room, The Gallery, is fully air conditioned and can be used in conjunction with the Coach House Suite, a spacious and elegant room with excellent natural lighting for optimum focus. Alternatively, you may choose to hold your meeting in the Drawing Room – an elegant Georgian room which is more suited for boardroom style meetings, holding up to 20 delegates.

To add a little extra sparkle to your conference day, you can book on to one of our packages. Our Standard Day delegates can expect to be treated to coffee and tea on arrival with a working lunch, followed by an afternoon tea break. You’ll also receive complimentary room hire with sparkling and still water. Our Premier Day Delegate package includes all of the above, with an upgrade from a working lunch to a delicious two-course lunch in our restaurant. Alternatively, if you wish to extend your stay, we also have a Residential Delegate package that you can book. Along with all the above, you’ll have the additional luxuries of a three-course dinner and accommodation with breakfast. You’ll have the choice of staying in one of our Coach House, Mews, Main Hall or Spa bedrooms. For the ultimate treat, you can upgrade to one of our suites.

Set in the heart of the countryside, you’ll be transported to a peaceful location perfect for focusing on developing your business. For more information about booking, please see here.
