Special Events at Headlam Hall
19 February 2019
We run a regular programme of special events at Headlam to offer something a bit different to our customers. Our live music suppers in the Coach House ballroom have proved popular where you can book a table to enjoy an a la carte dinner and watch a great local band perform. We have held two sell out Jazz & Soul nights and our next one on 13th April is with a six-piece swing band who will be playing all the old favourites from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro, Sammy Davis Jnr and more. Tickets can be purchased now at £35 per person inclusive of your three-course meal.
We will also be holding our second Cask Ale & Street Food night on Friday 22nd March in the Coach House Bar and Stable Lounge. This is a relaxed evening when we will be offering some guest ales from Hambleton Brewery in North Yorkshire and McColls Brewery in County Durham. There will be a selection of street food dishes such as fish & chips, wraps, pulled pork buns and hot dogs to eat either ‘on the hoof’ or at informal tables. A jazz pianist will be playing as well to keep you entertained. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the door subject to still being available for £18 to include the food and your first drink.
As with all our events in the Coach House there is a special offer should you wish to stay the night with us. Bed & breakfast for two people is from just £99 and includes use of the spa.
On Sunday 12th May we are joined by BBC TV antiques expert, David Harper, for an afternoon tea event between 3pm and 5pm. David has hosted a couple of lunches for us in the past and on this occasion he will entertain you with stories of the antiques world whilst you enjoy a traditional afternoon tea including dainty sandwiches and pastries. There will be an auction and raffle to raise money for St Teresa’s Hospice in Darlington and the opportunity to have your own antique appraised by David. Tickets for the are priced at £29 per person.
