Our bedrooms are perfect for couples looking to enjoy a romantic stay with good food and spa, We also have dog friendly accommodation as well as family friendly accommodation. HOTEL RESIDENTS USE OF THE SPA
All hotel residents can make use of the spa facilities, however, the cost of this is NOT included in our standard room rates as we recognise that not all guests wish to make use of this facility. The daily fee for spa use is £15pp and this includes access to all areas including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outside hydrotherapy pool, gym and fitness room. Sessions in the spa need to be booked in advance so we can monitor the number of users to ensure that a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere is retained for the benefit of all.
Our seasonal offers and some of our special offers do include spa use in the rate but sessions still need to be booked in advance.
EV CHARGING
We have electric vehicle charging points available for guests to use. There is a charge for this service.
Heritage
Headlam Hall dates back to the mid 17th century and boasts original period features such as the large open fireplaces, grand stairways and numerous antiques. The Headlam Hall estate includes the spa and golf course as well as a working arable farm. The Robinson family who own and run Headlam Hall have been farming here for four generations. This luxurious country hotel is an authentic rural retreat and a haven of tranquility and relaxation.
FAQs
Yes residents can book a tee-time through the Pro Shop for a round of golf (green fees apply) or use the practice range. Tuition can also be booked with the resident PGA Professional.
The spa is available to all residents, however, not all of our rate options include spa use so please check. If you are staying on a rate that does not include spa use there is a charge of £15 per person per day to use for the facilities. Spa time needs to be booked by all residents so we can ensure that it does not get over crowded.
Yes we have charging points available for which there is a cost.
All of the Mews rooms are ground floor and 3 of the Coach House rooms are too. There are no ground floor rooms in the main hall or spa.
You can check-in to your room from 4pm, however, if you arrive earlier you can use the lounge areas and if you are on a spa inclusive package you can access the spa area from 2pm. Check-out on the day of departure is 11am.
Yes we welcome children of all ages to Headlam Hall. We have family bedrooms that have a double bed and a single bed and also our suites have a sofa bed option suitable for a child. The Mews rooms can be booked as a pair (a double and twin room) with a private and secure lobby to each room creating a family unit for 2 adults and 2 children.
Yes we welcome guests staying with up to 2 dogs in our Mews rooms and 1 smaller dog in some of our Main Hall, Coach House and Spa rooms. The Hideaway Apartment is also suitable for up to 2 dogs. For full information see our Dog-friendly page.
We have 38 rooms - 16 in the Main Hall, 6 in the Mews, 9 in the Coach House and 7 in the Spa.
