9 Hole Golf Course in Teesdale, County Durham; golfing breaks and packages available
Located in the Durham dales in the North East, and set over rolling pastureland around the Hall gardens this enjoyable and challenging course features an abundance of natural features including rig & fur, woodland, streams and ponds making it a test for the most experienced of golfers.
The course is well located and close to Darlington, Barnard Castle, Newton Aycliffe and Scotch Corner. It has a wide variety of holes from the daunting 116 yard 'Pond Hole' to the long 523 yard 'Sleeters' par 5.
The full size greens have been constructed to USGA specification with irrigation and offer some of the best playing surfaces in the region. Our golf course is open to non-members and offers golf packages and special breaks.
There is a 10 bay covered driving range, a practice chipping area and practice putting green. The resident PGA professional, Darren Pearce, is available for tuition and the golf shop stocks a wide range of equipment and accessories and clothing.
"Be careful not to write off this little gem just because of its yardage and number of par 3's. There is far more to this course that first meets the eye. Risk and reward is on every hole, some very tight drives and there are five holes where you can take your driver and enjoy the odd eagle putt but be sure to shape your shot precisely otherwise you are dead."
